Set in the Blue Mountains World Heritage wilderness, Jenolan Caves are the largest, most spectacular and most famous caves in Australia; a national treasure of awe-inspiring beauty and scale.
This app has several self-guided trails for you to choose from. There is an adult’s, a children’s and an Indigenous Heritage Tour which take you on various routes where you will encounter the historic Jenolan Village, the iconic Grand Arch, the spectacular Devil’s Coach House, and the Nettle Cave. There are also three above ground walking trails which explore the rock formations, valleys and river systems. These tours explore the Jenolan area examining the geology and geomorphology, the cultural heritage and history, as well as the Dreamtime creation stories of the local Aboriginal people. There are additional layers of information available for those who want to gain a richer understanding of Jenolan’s fascinating history and science.
